Parking: Parking will be in the lots on the northwest corner of the Spectrum and in the parking lots west of Romney Stadium. Please plan on 10 to 15 minutes to walk from your car to your seats. The doors will open for seating at 6:00pm. Handicapped parking will be found immediately west of the main doors to the Spectrum. Maps of the Spectrum and parking areas will be included in the information handed with caps and gowns.
Graduates: Graduates should arrive no later than 6:00pm. Graduation practice will be held during the day prior to the 3rd. The exact date is to be determined and will be announced to all graduates. It is very important that all graduates be there.
Seating: Tickets are not required. Everyone is welcome. Graduation ceremonies may not be interesting to very young children.
Box Elder High School is charged according to the number of seating sections used. Please do not sit in sections that have been roped off.
The graduates will enter the Spectrum by descending the east stairs. The young ladies will be seated on the south side of the spectrum floor and the young men will be seated on the north side.
Caps and Gowns: Caps and Gowns will be distributed on May 1. Please make every effort to have your stu-dent at school that day. At the beginning of the graduation ceremony, the tassel is to be hanging on the right side.
Individual variations on the cap and gown will not be allowed. Please do not wear corsages (wrist or lapel) or leis. Do not have balloons, signs or reflective tape, etc... on the cap. Students not following these rules will be issued an Administrative U and will not receive their diploma until the completion of service hours.
Pictures: Box Elder High School has arranged for Taylor Made Images to take pictures of graduates at the Spectrum. They will also be recording the ceremony and making a DVD available for purchase. Please make every effort to have personal and family pictures taken before you arrive at the Spectrum. Graduates and parents are not to be on the Spectrum Floor prior to the ceremony to take pictures.
Programs: A souvenir program will be provided to each senior. You do not need to worry about saving one for your student.
