All Seniors participating in the Keys to Success Program are eligible to apply. Check out the opportunities today!

The following scholarships are available through the counseling office:

Calvin & Reva Wiggins Foundation Scholarship: This is a $1,000 scholarship for senior students that will pursue a career in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Engineering all disciplines.

Kaiser Page Medical Scholarship: This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a BESD student who will study in the medical field.

Lowell & Colleen Sherrett Scholarship: $1,000 for a graduating BEHS senior who has been accepted to a 4 year college or university. Must have a 3.0 GPA or better and shows leadership, integrity, kindness, and strength of character. Service, community involvement, and religious involvement are also considered.

Dale C. Young Memorial Scholarship: $3,000 for a BEHS graduate who will be majoring in Education. Must have 3.5 GPA or better, show financial need and not received any other scholarships by time of selection. Leadership, community service and other significant achievements will be considered.

Heber Lynn Orme Scholarship: Two $500 scholarships are available. One for a student who will study Home Economics and one for the area of Agriculture.

Jiffy Lube Teen Driver Scholarship: All licensed teen drivers attending BEHS. Must write a 500 word essay that expresses your “inner drive.” There is a second scholarship for students enrolled in a Driver’s Ed course this year.

“Tomorrows Pioneers” Scholarship: This scholarship is for a senior of the highest character exemplified through specific acts through their lives of true pioneers of faith, courage, endurance, and family values. Must have overcome SIGNIFICANT disadvantages and show economic need.

Jump Start Financial Literacy Scholarship: This is a $1,000 scholarship for a senior who plans to pursue post-secondary education. Must write an essay on what you think are the top three financial issues for college students.

Big Sun Scholarship: This is a $500 scholarship for student athletes. Must be a graduating senior who is participating in any sport during their senior year whether at school or in the community.

Department of Veterans Affairs Dependents Education Program: Dependents of Veterans who are permanently and totally disabled due to a service-related condition or of a Veteran who died while on active duty or as a result of a service-related condition are eligible to receive assistance in getting education or training. Must be 18-26 years old.

Student-View Scholarship Program: This is a scholarship drawing for students who complete a 15-20 minute survey.

Pursuit of Higher Education Scholarship: This award is for a student that has prepared well to continue their education and has taken AP and Concurrent Enrollment classes, but does not necessarily have outstanding grades or ACT scores. Students that have an ACT higher than 26 will not be considered.

Youthlinc Young Humanitarian Award: This is a $5,000 award to the student that most excels at giving back to their community. An essay is required.

The Tyson D. Wilding Memorial Scholarship: $500 scholarship awarded to a Box Elder High School senior who has who has shown strength, determination, and courage in overcoming adversity and trial in the face of overwhelming odds. It is named in the memory of Tyson Wilding who showed great resiliency and courage as well as a positive attitude despite the many physical and health struggles he faced during his life

Ladies Community Club Scholarship: This is a local scholarship for seniors who will pursue post-secondary education. Students must show academic achievement, school involvement, and community service.

Lighthouse Guild Vision+Health Scholarship: This is for a student that is legally blind, a US citizen, demonstrated academic achievement.

Weber State Richard Richards Ethics Scholarship: This is a Keys to Success Scholarship for a student who wins the essay contest. $1,000 award.

Vivint Smart Home Scholarship: This is a$5,000 scholarship to a BE District student. Must a senior and a legal resident of the US. Must enroll in college by September 30, 2017. You will submit a required video.

BYU Dept of Goelogical Sciences George Hansen Fellowship Scholarship: Must be a graduating senior, and enroll in geology or earth and space science education major.

Utah PTSA/PTA 2016-17 Student Scholarship: For a graduating senior student who is a member of the PTSA/PTA, accepted to a post-secondary school, and have a 3.0 GPA

The Glenn & Deeta Neely Endowment: For students from BEHS that fall within the top 25% of their graduating class; must be involved in one or more of the following areas: the arts, athletics, government and service organizations; must prepare a short writing statement of “Why College For Me?”; and provide TWO letters of recommendation from faculty members. This is for students planning to attend USU and is worth up to $3,500.

BATC Applied Tech Scholarship: This scholarship is for students who plan to attend BATC and complete a technical program after high school. Covers tuition and program fees for one program.

Susan W. Coda Memorial Scholarship: Must be a UT resident, attending high school, show proof of acceptance to a 4yr college or university outside of the state of Utah, 3.8 GPA or higher, demonstrate leadership, extra-curricular activity, and be involved in community affairs.

TH Bell Teaching Incentive Loan: This is a loan program through the state of UT with “Loan Forgivness” if you teach in Utah after graduating.

The Generation Google Scholarship: This is for students who plan to attend college next year and major in computer science or computer engineering. Must show strong leadership skills, strong academic achievement, and be a student of an underrepresented group in computer science.

Farr West Agribusiness Association Scholarship:
Any graduating senior who will pursue a college education after high school. Must submit application and 500 word essay of selected topics. This award is up to a $1,000 scholarship.
